2018 Hyundai Accent Offers More Equipment, Sophistication

2018 Hyundai Accent Offers More Equipment, Sophistication

The redesigned and upgraded new 2018 Hyundai Accent coming very soon to our showroom at Orangeville Hyundai, offers you more - a lot more - for the same affordable price that has helped make it the best-selling subcompact car across Canada for the past nine years, since it first launched back in 1995!

For starters, the Accent is now more stylish than before, its profile and front end giving off a noticeably sportier vibe. Overall the car is slightly larger, translating into more interior space for the five occupants. It offers far more room inside than the Nissan Micra and Mitsubishi Mirage, for example; not only that but the ride it offers is quieter than most rivals can aspire to. Other attractive style upgrades include LED front and rear lighting, available fog lights, a snazzier cascading front grille and a reworked back end.

As winter drags on here in Ontario, our customers at Orangeville Hyundai will be glad to know that the Canadian version of the 2018 Hyundai Accent comes with standard heated front seats and heated steering wheel - the latter not offered in the U.S. model. Also standard is a rear-view camera; a tantalizing available option is the smart trunk: stand behind it for 3 seconds with the key fob on you, and the hatch opens automatically.

Speaking of that hatch, another Canada-exclusive that Hyundai has bestowed on us here is one that makes us at Orangeville Hyundai, and our customers, very happy indeed: while American customers will only have access to the four-door sedan version of the 2018 Hyundai Accent, north of the border we will get the hatchback edition as well, which after all accounts for 65% of the model's sales here.

The 2018 Accent comes with a standard 5-inch touchscreen to operate the highly user-friendly Hyundai infotainment system, with an available 7-inch upgrade adding more functionality (Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, navigation, Bluetooth capability).

Reception among Canadian automotive journalists has matched the enthusiasm level of consumers awaiting the new redesigned Accent in 2018; here's some of what they've been saying:
