New Vehicle Warranty
Since 2005, when Hyundai introduced the 5-year Comprehensive Warranty, their new vehicle coverages have been one of their distinct advantages. Its longer than most automotive manufacturers, and certainly longer than most of our primary competitors. Despite having one of the longest and best new vehicle comprehensive warranties in Canada, Hyundai's warranty has one of the industry's lowest usage rates. That fact is a testiment to the quality, fit-and-finish and attention to detail that makes Hyundai unparalleled in terms of value.
The warranty transfers to subsequent owners helping enhance trade values and keep the cost of ownership down compared to other vehicles (especially in years 4 and 5). Because a vast majority of Orangeville Hyundai's Pre-Owned Inventory is comprised of late-model, low mileage vehicles, many have remaining comprehensive warranty ready to transfer to a subsequent owner. Some of our Pre-Owned vehicles have more remaining comprehensive warranty than many competitor's new vehicles in the market. When you combine that with a pre-owned price - thats impressive!

Covers nearly every new vehicle component.
Covers repair or replacement of any component manufactured or originally installed by Hyundai that is defective in material or factory workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.
The following components covered for time and mileage limits indicated:
- Radio and Sound Systems (i.e. radio, cassette tape drive mechanism, compact disc player, and GPS), DVD system: 3 years / 60,000 Km
- Paint: 3 years/ 60,000 Km
- Battery: 3 years / 60,000 Km
- Adjustments: 1 year / 20,000 Km

Covers most engine and transaxle components.
- Covers repair or replacement of powertrain components (i.e. selected Engine, Transmission / Transaxle,and 4WD components), originally manufactured or installed by Hyundai that are defective in material or factory workmanship, under normal use and maintenance

Hyundai's Emission System Warranty covers the basic emission components unless otherwise specifically provided, for 60 months from the Warranty Registration Date or 100,000 Km, whichever occurs first.

Covers repair or replacement of the following original Hyundai major emissions control components:
- Catalytic Converter
- Engine Control Module
- Onboard Emissions Diagnostic Device (OBDII)

Genuine Hyundai replacement Parts purchased from and installed by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer will be warranted for 12 months from the installation date, regardless of distance travelled. Engines and Automatic transaxles are covered for 12 months or 20,000 kms, whichever occurs first.
Genuine Hyundai Parts purchased over the counter (not installed at an authorized Hyundai Dealership) are warranted for 12 months from the date of purchase. Only the cost of part is covered under this warranty.
Genuine Hyundai replacement Parts replaced under the terms of the Hyundai New Vehicle Warranty, including powertrain, emission, etc., will be warranted for the remainder of the warranty period applicable to the replaced part.

Genuine Hyundai dealer-installed Accessories are warranted for 36 months or 60,000 kms from the Warranty Registration Date, whichever occurs first. If installation occurs after the Warranty Registration Date, warranty coverage is 12 months from the installation date, regardless of distance travelled, or the balance of the 36 months or 60,000 kms coverage, whichever is greater.*
Genuine Hyundai Accessories purchased over the counter (not installed at an authorized Hyundai Dealership) are warranted for 12 months, unlimited kilometres from the date of purchase. Only the cost of accessory is covered under this warranty.

* 3-year warranty does not apply to Genuine Hyundai Accessories installed on 2010 and prior model year vehicles. Such Accessories are warranted to be free from defect for 12 months, unlimited kilometres from installation date.
Covers perforation due to corrosion on body sheet metal from inside to outer body surface.
Covers perforation, corrosion of any component through the metal body panel from the lower window line down and occuring from the inner to outer surface, corrosion of original Hyundai body sheet metal due to defects in material or factory workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.
Excludes surface corrosion.
